Jump-Start Your College Admissions Personal Essay: A Workshop for Rising Seniors In-Person

Tackling the college admissions personal essay this summer? Rising seniors are invited to this two-hour workshop to learn:

  • The purpose of the personal essay and what it is NOT.
  • How to come up with a good topic, and which topics to avoid.
  • Who is your audience? How to get and hold their attention.
  • How to begin writing your first draft.

At the end of the workshop, students should have the tools to identify an essay topic and to begin working on their first draft.
