The FrostKings are a R&B, swing, and blues band originating from the North Jersey area. Familiar to music fans in Northern New Jersey, and Southern New York State, the FrostKings have played many festivals and venues over the years. Equally at home playing swinging shuffles, slow blues or full-tilt boogies, their repertoire ranges from the West Coast swing stylings of Louis Jordan and T-Bone Walker, to the classic blues of Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson, B.B. King, Eddie “Clean Head” Vinson and Muddy Waters, to the R&B of Jackie Brenston and Otis Redding. If you're not already a swing-blues fan, you will be after hearing their Icey-Cold tones. Alex De Lazzari, Saxophone: emerging as one of New York’s strongest young voices on the tenor saxophone, Alex De Lazzari’s musical mission is to honor the sounds of the masters who came before him while honing his own unique sound on his instrument. He has played with the likes of Winard Harper, Savion Glover, and Bobby Sanabria, and performs regularly in the NYC area at venues such as the Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, and Smalls Jazz Club.

Big Al Krotoff, Guitar and vocals: with over 20 years of experience Al has played with North Jersey favorites Voodoo Road Blues Band, Lark Brothers Band and now the FrostKings. Al has shared the stage with the Akiko Tsuruga, Filthy Rich and the Poor Boys, the Crescent City Maulers, Dean Shot and other local blues veterans.

Masaaki Saito, Upright Bass: Masaaki is an upcoming bassist out of North Jersey who started his musical journey at 13 when he picked up the guitar. The enjoyment of improvising from early influences like BB King and the Allman Brothers transitioned into jazz when he decided to go to Montclair State College and study with Dave Stryker, where he also studied with Bill Moring. He has worked many different venues and settings honing his craft. Masaaki holds down the bottom for the FrostKings like a true professional he is.

Harry “Hurricane” Fiorilli, drums: a veteran of over 35 years of experience, Harry provides the solid back beat to the FrostKings. A veteran of numerous bands including Filthy Rich and the Poor Boys, the Cristopher Dean Band, the Dean Shot Revue among others, Harry is the big beat behind the swing of the FrostKings.
