Blues guitarist Italo Naccarato

Blues guitarist Italo Naccarato In-Person

Italo ‘Tal’ Naccarato, the vocalist, songwriter, composer, teaching artist, writer and instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, harmonica) was born in the medieval mountain village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio in Calabria, Italy and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. His stylized original work, highlighting a deep appreciation for traditional Folk and Americana Roots music, is steeped heavily in Rock and Blues and includes his original classical guitar inspired compositions, performed with a 'bluesy swing’. When not playing a festival, club or recording date, Tal can sometimes be found performing on the streets of New York City, Nashville or New Orleans in the time-honored Folk / Americana / Roots & Country Blues street singer tradition. His latest collection of works, ‘The Theory of Hurricanes: 14 Songs’, was just released, December 10th, 2024.
