Junior Entrepreneur Expo In-Person
Kids ages 7-12 are welcome to apply for the Westfield Memorial Library’s first ever Junior Entrepreneur Expo!
Anyone who is interested will need to fill out the application and provide information about what they want to sell and the cost of their items. Once accepted, a $5 fee will be collected to secure the table.
All participants will receive a networking passport that they can use to collect information about the other vendors and get to know the other sellers at the event. Prizes for networking with other program participants will be provided by the library. The last 20 minutes of the selling period (11:10 am-11:30 am) can be utilized for trading items with other sellers at the event.
Each child who applies and is approved by library staff will receive space at a table to set up goods to sell. Examples of items that can be sold include:
- Bookmarks
- Keychains
- Friendship Bracelets
- Pokémon or Sports Cards
- Origami
- Original Artwork
- Magnets
- Stickers
- Pins
- Small, handmade items priced under $10
Items that cannot be sold or traded at the event include:
- Food or drinks of any kind
- Cosmetics
- Bath products
- Slime
- Digital goods (digital files, services, etc.)
- Anything priced over $10
Setup for sellers begins at 10:00 am selling begins at 10:30 am. Selling will end at 11:30 and participants have until 12:00 noon to break down their displays. All junior entrepreneurs must be accompanied by a guardian for the duration of the event.
