Paper Rollercoaster Workshop In-Person

Participants will design and build their own paper rollercoasters in this workshop for students in grades 3-6. The hands-on creative workshop will explore basic engineering and physics concepts, such as slope, stability, and momentum. This event will be lead by high school students from FRC Team 1257.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 1257 - “Parallel Universe” is based in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. The team is comprised of high school students from across Union County. Founded in 2004, the team has a student-driven goal of promoting STEM, leadership, and creative problem solving. The team has competed in several FIRST Robotics competitions with their innovative robot designs.
