See and Sample: Nutritious Soup Cooking Demo In-Person

Warm up this winter with a plant-powered soup demo by Culinary Nutrition Instructor, Sonia Verrilli-Jabon BA, MA. Attendees will get a front row seat to 'see' how she creates her InstaSoul Satisfying Lentil Soup. Additionally, you will learn the secrets to whipping up a hearty, "heal-your-body" soup along with the benefits of every ingredient that goes into it---and yes, there will be samples for you to try!
Sonia is a Certified Culinary Nutritionist & Fitness Coach, Wellness Cooking Instructor, and the Founder of Beets & Biscotti. She founded Beets & Biscotti to encourage the use of nutrient dense ingredients that fuel and heal the body holistically, without sacrificing taste (and it usually includes a pinch of dark chocolate and a smidgen of fun). She is an educator and advocate for whole foods, wellness, fitness, and family!
Allergy & Dietary Disclaimer
While the base recipe is intended to be plant-based, gluten-free and dairy-free, samples are prepared in a kitchen that may come into contact with wheat, diary, soy, tree nuts, and peanuts.
Featured Ingredients: Lentils, zucchini, kale, carrots, celery, tomatoes, garlic, onion, balsamic vinegar, various fresh herbs and spices, vegetable broth. Optional add-ins: red pepper flakes, nutritional yeast, parmiggiano (Parmesan cheese).
