College Admissions 101: What Do Selective Colleges Want? In-Person
Susana MacLean, an experienced independent education consultant, will present an overview of selective college admissions, including:
• How do selective colleges evaluate applicants?
• What are “by the numbers” vs. “holistic” admissions?
• What is an application “narrative?”
• Do honors and AP classes make a difference?
• How should students choose extracurricular activities?
• Do teacher and counselor recommendations matter?
Open to high school students and parents.
In addition, representatives of the College Women's Club of Westfield will be in attendance to provide information about their scholarship opportunities. Don't miss this chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights into the college admissions process!
