Introduction to 3D Printing for Teens and Adults In-Person

Explore 3D printing with this free introductory class for beginners. Emerging Technologies Librarian Genny Girvan will talk about how 3D printers work, what kinds of projects can be made with 3D printers, and how to get started with designing your own 3D files to print.

This workshop will include an introduction to Autodesk Tinkercad, a free web-based 3D modeling software. Anyone who would like to get a headstart on learning how to use the design interface can check out Tinkercad's free tutorials to learn 3D design basics
