The Cool Summer Kitchen Series - Cooking Demo In-Person

******Space is limited, you MUST register for this event*****

Learn how to beat the heat with this Cool Summer Kitchen Series class featuring a refreshing and balanced "Pina Colada Meets the Green Smoothie", led by returning Culinary Nutritionist Sonia Verrilli-Jabon. This smoothie will have you feeling like you are somewhere tropical while nourishing your body.   A perfect balance of the tropics, protein, fat & fiber to keep you satisfied, your energy levels up while supporting your gut health.  The additional bonus of ‘greens’ boosts your upside potential.

In this workshop Sonia will blitz up this tasty smoothie and provide hacks on how to build your own customizable green smoothie. Fun bonuses include turning it into a summer mocktail and even cocktail too! (No alcohol will be provided). Adding greens to your smoothies is a perfect way to have more energy, glowing skin, improved clarity, keeping hunger at bay, enhanced workout performance, digestive support and more when balanced right! Most importantly, it's a powerful and easy way to boost whole, nutrient dense foods into your body so the effect on our bodies reduces cravings for processed, artificial, nutrient-less foods. If you’re stuck in a smoothie rut or simply don’t find drinking one satisfying enough, you may need some blender and smoothie coach rescue!

All recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free and plant-based focused.

Sonia is a Certified Culinary Nutritionist & Fitness Coach, Wellness Cooking Instructor, and the Founder of Beets & Biscotti. She founded Beets & Biscotti to encourage the use of nutrient dense ingredients that fuel and heal the body holistically, without sacrificing taste (and it usually includes a pinch of dark chocolate and a smidgen of fun). She is an educator and advocate for whole foods, wellness, fitness, and family!
