One of the hardest things I had to learn as an illustrator was Layer Management. I can't tell you how many times I'd lose myself on a layer that would completely alter the entire flow of the piece. 

Here I'll be demonstrating how I process my digital pieces. Layer techniques, blend modes and how to use them. Tips and tricks on brush customization and more.

Lamont, the 7th Artist-in-Residence to serve at Westfield Memorial Library, will exhibit his work from August 1 to September 30.

Lamont is a graphic artist and illustrator based out of Union County New Jersey. Graduating from Linden High School with honors in 2006, Lamont decided to pursue the intimate career path of fine arts and illustration by attending such institutions as Union County College. Continuing to follow his passions in the arts Lamont has been involved in the fashion industry - working with brands such as Stylus Apparel, Kill Brand LA. Lamont's artwork has been seen on platforms such as Hypebeast, High Snobiety and XXL. over the last several years Lamont has participated heavily in Newark Arts by way of RyArMo Photography Studios, Yendor LLC and now STEAM Urban.
