Jazz singer Maggie Worsdale presents 1960s Classics In-Person

For those 10 years remembered as the 1960s, music was a constant surprise and delight. The music of this era intensified our lives whether you enjoyed the sound or not. How did it feel? It felt scary; it felt exhilarating; and suddenly it felt exactly like rock & roll. The greatest triumph of the time was simply that all these riches played alongside one another in a radio marketplace that was more open than it had ever been before (or would ever be again) for a shared audience that revered it all. The 60s started with the Everly Brothers and ended with The Grateful Dead.

Jazz Singer, Maggie Worsdale, celebrates the music of the 60s with hits that weaved their way into our lives and souls. She’ll sing these songs and share the stories behind the songs
